This has incredible antibacterial properties; I drink it when my throat feels scratchy or when I suspect a cold is coming on. Sore throats often improve by the next day. Combined with Manuka honey, it's most effective!

It's effective early in a cold. It worked better for my husband; when he had a sore throat, I had him take two pills at night, and he sweated a bit, leading to his sore throat disappearing. Now, whenever I have a sore throat, I take one pill three times a day and it goes away quickly.
